Sustainable Crediton’s “mission is to help people in Crediton and the local area to lead more sustainable lifestyles and work towards a carbon neutral future.”
The project was to replace the old website (and its content management system) with a WordPress site on the same domain, while maintaining an archive as part of the new site. We scraped the old site as flat html files and uploaded these to a sub-folder on the new hosting.
The client provided the content for the new site – mostly new photos and copy rewritten from scratch, plus a couple of months of news and events overlapping with the old site. The functionality of the new site includes a monthly newsletter aggregating news from the previous month with events for the next three months ahead, and an editorial.
Clare has been very responsive to our particular needs and has worked closely with us to produce a website which reflects our ethos and how we are structured. Crucially, the production of our newsletter which goes out monthly to around 800 subscribers is made very simple for us. She has been happy to work flexibly with us and has dealt with any queries arising rapidly and constructively.
